This is other piece of technology adapted from hollow tine machines and works on the same principal but rather than the four cores injecting the ground this one spikes the ground with twelve pins to 40mm at even spaces allowing drainage and root aeration.You can see this on the video and the still pictures here. It is designed for smaller gardens and lawns it will easily fit through a standard garden gate. It is powered by a briggs 5 hp petrol engine which drive each of the 12 spikes into the ground and driving the corer/spiker forward. The handle folds to allow fitting into an estate car/van This machine is a must if you have drainage problems in your lawn
